Membership of u3a Sutton Bridge

The u3a Sutton Bridge membership year and financial year run one month apart. This is to assist and ease accounting process.

Our membership year begins on 1st May.

New Members Joining Between 1st May 2026 and 30th April 2027:

Full Members £20.00 for the year to 30th April 2027

• This includes a £4.00 subscription to the u3a national office - the Third Age Trust - (this subscription is otherwise known as a "Capitation Fee")
• u3a Sutton Bridge has opted to use the software package BEACON as its communication system and to maintain membership and group records. The membership fee includes £1.00 per Full and Associate Member towards the costs of running BEACON.

Associate Members £16.00 for the year to 30th April 2027

• Associate Members pay their subscription to the Third Age Trust through their prime u3a membership, eg a Full Member of Spalding u3a who joins u3a Sutton Bridge as an Associate Member will have paid their Capitation Fee via their Spalding membership, hence the £4.00 differential.

New Members joining part way through the year

• £20.00 for those joining after 1st May 2026 and up to and including 31st July 2026
• £15.50 for those joining from 1st August 2026 to 31st October 2026 inclusive
• £11.50 for those joining from 1st November 2026 to 31st March 2027 inclusive
• FREE for those joining from 1st April 2026 to 30th April 2026 inclusive.

Existing Membership Renewal:

Existing membership renewals falls due on 1st May 2026.

Please note that there will be no rebate applied to existing membership this year.
