What is Canasta?

Canasta is a partnership card game of the rummy family, and is played with two standard decks of cards plus Jokers. The game is typically played by four players in two partnerships, where the objective is to form melds (sets of three or more cards of the same rank) and complete at least one Canasta, which is a meld of seven or more cards.
