Group Leader Maureen Sinclair-Currie
Discussion Group meets on the third Wednesday of the month from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Members take turns to host. Our discussion topics are wide and varied. We truly “live laugh and learn”
In the past our discussions included: Birth of the Common Market, Knife crime, Private education versus state education, Crime and punishment, What does Christmas mean to me, Seasonal times and memories, Is the World a better place now that when we were young. At the end of each meeting the “infamous wallet” chosen by members include: Things I cannot resist, Favourite word and why; What is your earliest memory; What historical event do you wish you had attended; What 4 people would you invite to a dinner party and why (dead or alive)
Please contact Maureen Sinclair-Currie if you wish any further information.
